December 15, 2017 - Center Riders will play the Defending 4A Boys State Basketball Champions Silsbee Tigers on Tuesday, December 19th. The Tigers are coached by Center native Joe Sigler, a 1973 graduate of Center High School. Two separate polls show the Riders ranked as #1 & #5 and the Tigers ranked as #6 & #1. Needless to say, this is going to be a game for the history books at CHS. Come out on Tuesday and support your Center Roughriders coached by Hiram Harrison. Games start at 4:30pm featuring all teams; 9th, JV and Varsity.

October 26, 2017 - Mt. Zion invites everyone to our Missionary Program on Sunday, October 29th at 3pm. Special guest speaker will be Minister Sandra Hill of the New Creations Nation Christian Center, Nacogdoches, TX; and speakers Rev. Elgena Weaver, Pastor; and Sis. Joyce Johnson, Missionary President.

August 1, 2017 - Mt. Zion Homecoming & Revival Services will start on Sunday, August 6th at 3pm with Rev. Delphine Thompson, Shepherd of Triumph Church, Center as the special guest.

Revival Services will be August 7th - 9th at 7pm nightly. Monday night speaker will be Rev. Marilyn Briggs, pastor of St. Paul C.M.E. Church, Nacogdoches.

June 19, 2017 - You're invited to the Mt Zion CME 141st Church Anniversary on Sunday, June 25th at 3pm. Special guest speaker will be Pastor Marlin Cloudy, Sr. of Abundant Love Ministries. Rev. Elgena Weaver pastor.

April 13, 2017 - Passion Week Services on Thursday (April 13th) and Friday (April 14th) at 7p.m. nightly with guest speaker, Prophet Jamie Capers, of Miles Chapel C.M.E. Church Tyler, TX.
