December 13, 2016 - Tonight, December 13, 2016 will be the first home game of the season for the Center Boys with all divisions; 9th, JV and Varsity Boys hosting the Huntington Red Devils.

The girls JV and Varsity teams will be playing Huntington as well. An added bonus tonight features the CHS Chaparrals performing at half-time of the Varsity Boys game. 9th grade boys & JV boys will play at the CMS Gym starting at 4:30p.m. JV Girls, Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys will play at the CHS Gym starting time 5:00p.m.

November 9, 2016 - To ride the Roughrider Fan Bus for Bi-District Playoff Game on Friday contact the CISD Transportation dept at 936-598-2880 to reserve your spot on the bus. $5 Adult $3 Student (5 and under ride free). Bus leaving CHS parking lot by 3p.m.

August 16, 2016 - A Memorial Service will be held for 102 year old Ms. Elma Swindall on Friday, August 19th from 7 - 8:30p.m. at the Mt. Zion C.M.E. Church located at 921 MLK Drive in Center. Ms. Swindall was an educator in Webb Schools in the Africa Community, C. H. Daniels and Center I.S.D.

Those who are wanting to give expressions will need to do so at the Memorial Service, as there will be none at the Celebration of Life Service being held on Saturday, August 20th at 11a.m. at Triumph Church in Center.
 

July 14, 2016 - Mt Zion CME to honor their pastor Robert Gipson on Sunday, July 17th at 3p.m. Special guest speaker is Rev. MacCaul and the Salem United Methodist Church of Orange, Texas.
