October 7, 2025 - The 2025 East Texas Poultry Festival Broiler Show started off the day at the Shelby County Expo Center.

Seventy Shelby County 4-H and FFA youth exhibited at this year's show, with 40 pens of broilers making the sale. We would like to give special thanks to Judge Micah Osburn for taking the time to judge the show. Mr. Osburn spoke to several of the exhibitors and gave them several tips on how to grow an outstanding broiler.

September 3, 2025 - Join Shelby County 4-H on Monday, September 8 at 6pm at the Extension Office, 266 Nacogdoches Street, Center, Texas 75935). Membership is not required to attend. All are welcome!

June 2, 2025 - Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service - Shelby County will be hosting a 2 in 1 Cooking and sewing camps (beginner and advanced) in June in Center, Texas. This program is open to all youth ages 8 through 18, and you do not have to be a member of 4-H to participate.

March 10, 2025 - (Show Photo Album, Sale Photo Album, Backdrop Photo Album) - The Shelby County 4-H & FFA Livestock Show took place the week of February 24 through March 1, 2025, kicking off with the 2nd annual Shelby County 4-H & FFA Commercial Heifer Show.
