March 3, 2020 - Shelby County 4H Juniors - Jacie Lee, Camille Greer, Carter Greer, and Hannah Wages attended Livestock Judging contests in San Antonio. They also attended the East Central FFA contest, as well as the San Antonio Livestock Exposition.

This February, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in partnership with the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Health & Fitness Fair Committee recommends giving your heart love, too, by being aware of heart problems and the steps you can take to prevent them.

November 18, 2019 - The Texas Parks and Wildlife Whizbang finals were held at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio on October 26. To qualified for the finals a 4H shooter must participate in a minimum of six county shoots throughout the 2018-2019 4H calendar year.
November 12, 2019 – November is National Diabetes Month; and this year the National Institutes for Health (NIH) is highlighting the link between diabetes and heart disease.
According the NIH “When blood sugar is high and moving through blood vessels, the vessels and nerves that control the heart can be damaged, causing heart disease”.
