David's Daily Devotion for September 25

September 25, 2023 - Good Morning! It's Monday, September 25.

How many hours did you work at your job last week? Maybe you're retired and your time is your own. But for you that are still part of the workforce - did you work 20 hours, 40, 60, more? David's Daily Devotion for September 14

September 14, 2023 - Good Morning! It's Thursday, September 14.

I've always loved storms. When the thunder starts to rumble and the lightning starts to flash... I go outside! It's a wonder I'm still alive to write this. It's my honor and blessing to teach the broadcast Sunday School lesson each week at First Baptist Center. This 9am Bible study goes out, as does our 10:15 worship service, to friends here in Shelby County on local FM radio and cable TV, and to friends around the world on the internet at fbccenter.org and Facebook FBC Center, Texas.

David’s Daily Devotion for Sept. 11

September 11, 2023 - Good Morning! It's Monday, September 11.

There are moments that happen in every generation that are so earth shattering, that everyone remembers where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news.  For my parent's generation it was December 7, 1941, the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.  For my generation it was November 22, 1963, the assassination of President Kennedy.  And for all of us, it was September 11, 2001.
