Yesterday was a good day. I got a hot tip on a camel! In my whole life, I think that was the first time I've written that sentence. But it's true - yesterday I got a line on a camel! Ok, before you conclude that I've completely lost it, let me explain.
October 19, 2022 - Good Morning! It’s Wednesday, October 19.
As I write this, it’s 29 degrees outside. I went to bed last night in October, and woke up this morning... in December! Unseasonably cool. But there’s one good thing about this little cold snap. It’s a lot easier to focus on church Christmas projects. We’re planning a community event called “Journey to Bethlehem”, an event that will be a new experience for us and for our community.

I love crossword puzzles. And every day I try to complete the one from The New York Times. It’s the “gold standard” - the best of the best. I grew up in Houston and started doing the Houston Chronicle crossword when I was a kid. Good puzzle. But not the best. But the best that a South Texas boy could get his hands on.
