August 19, 2021 - A Shelby County Grand Jury handed down 47 indictments on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. The grand jury was impaneled for the July 2021 term of the 123rd and Judicial District Court, and grand jury was held in both the 123rd and 273rd Judicial District courts.

August 16, 2021 - The intersection of SL 500 and State Highway 7 (SH7) East was the scene of a two-vehicle crash which sent several to the hospital Friday, August 13, 2021 at around 1pm.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene to the aid of those involved.

August 6, 2021 - U.S. Highway 84 just east of Tenaha was the scene of a major single-vehicle crash Friday, August 6, 2021.

Emergency responders established a landing zone at the intersection of U.S. Highway 84 and FM 699 so a helicopter could transport the driver involved from the scene.
