August 17, 2016 - The M.P. Baker Library will host Remembering 9/11with special speaker Dr. Alex Korniyenko on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in the Murphy-Payne Community rooms of the library. Dr. Korniyenko is a cardiologist with Tyler Cardiovascular Consultants. He is affiliated with six hospitals in the East Texas area and visits Carthage regularly to see patients at the local ETMC offices. Dr. Korniyenko began his medical career as an EMT with the New York City Fire Department.

August 11, 2016 - Panola College is pleased to introduce their new employees for the 2016-2017 school year to the community.

August 8, 2016 - On August 18, 2016, Panola County Chamber of Commerce, Panola College Board of Trustees and community members will gather to enjoy refreshments and perform a ribbon cutting at 10:00 am for Panola College’s newly renovated Roy Monk Building. The Roy Monk Building was originally built in 1965, and at that time the Building featured a lecture hall, labs, classrooms, and eight faculty offices.

August 4, 2016 - The Panola College Workforce and Continuing Education division is offering a Spur and Gear Making class from August 25 – September 29, 2016.  The class will be held each Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the Center campus.  The cost of the class is $300.00 and pre-registration is required.  For more information, contact the Continuing Education office at 903-693-2067 or email ce@panola.edu. 

Medication Administration Program 

August 1, 2016 - The Panola College Workforce and Continuing Education division is offering a Medication Administration program on the Carthage campus beginning Monday, August 29, 2016.
