October 5, 2016 - The B.F. and Mary Payne Fund for the Preservation of Texas Culture is proud to sponsor the exhibition currently on display in the M.P. Baker Library at Panola College. The exhibit is organized by Humanities Texas, the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

September 29, 2016 - If you’ve been considering taking a course to earn your Texas Handgun License, Panola College is offering a one-day course onSaturday, Oct. 15, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Cost is $70. Participants must be at least age 21.
Other courses on the October schedule for the Panola College Continuing Education Department include a Digital Photography course that will meet from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday from October 11-22. Cost is $115.
September 26, 2016 - Panola College hosted the first of 10 Southern Region Rodeo’s this last weekend September 23-24, at the Panola County Cattleman’s Association Arena. There where over 400 contestants, and over 1000 spectators over the weekend.
September 26, 2016 - The 6th-ranked Panola College Volleyball team took down Trinity Valley Community College Saturday afternoon in 4 sets (25-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-18) to complete a clean sweep of round one in conference play and improve to 15-2 overall.

September 20, 2016 - When the 2016 fall semester began in August at Panola College, the largest class of Medical Assistant students to date was admitted to begin their education. The Medical Assisting (MA) program began in the fall of 2012 with eleven associate degree students and nine certificate students. The program has since grown to 94 students, more than a 400% increase. According to the Department of Labor, “the employment of medical assistants is projected to grow 23% between 2014 and 2024.”
September 20, 2016 - That Panola College men's and women's basketball team will be hosting their first annual Fall Coaches Clinic.The clinic will take place this upcoming Saturday, September 24th and will run from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
September 19, 2016 - The 7th ranked Panola College Fillies continued their winning ways, going undefeated this weekend and taking home three tournament superlatives at the Lee College Invitational. Ana Oliviera was named tournament Most Valuable Player, while Rachel Henderson and Cayman Sutton were named to the All-Tournament team.
