ETPF Queen’s Court Prepares for 2022 Scholarship Pageant

August 23, 2022 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce recently announced the East Texas Poultry Festival will be October 6-8 on the historic downtown square. One of several preliminary festivities is the Queen's Court Scholarship Pageant. The reigning East Texas Poultry Festival Queens, Emilee Elliott and Carly Gray, will crown the 2022 Poultry Festival Queen on Saturday, October 1 on stage at Center High School.

Deadline for 46th East Texas Poultry Festival Seeks Arts, Crafts Vendors

August 23, 2022 - The deadline to apply for an Arts and Crafts vendor booth at the 46th Annual East Texas Poultry Festival, sponsored by Farmers State Bank, is Friday, August 26. The festival will take place October 6-8 on the historic downtown Center Square. Limited spaces are still available and the applications are being accepted at the Shelby County Chamber office. Gold Sponsors for the Festival are Badders Law Firm, City of Center, Pilgrims Pride and Tyson Foods.

Shelby County Family Life Center to Host Ribbon Cutting Event

August 11, 2022 - A New Member Ribbon Cutting is scheduled for the Shelby County Family Life Center on Saturday, August 13th at 9:30am to show off the new facility. The community is invited to attend. 

The Shelby County Family Life Center was built with the purpose to better develop our community by offering a wide selection of after school activities for our youth and a number of adult programs.

Brock’s Rocks Hosting Chamber Ribbon Cutting July 12

July 12, 2022 - The public is invited to attend a Ribbon Cutting for Brock’s Rocks. The Ribbon Cutting will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 10:30 am.

Brock’s Rocks is a family owned business and has been in business for a year and a half. Brandy and Jason Filz own Brock’s Rocks, along with their 16 year old son, Brock. Brandy and Jason also own the sister company, Timberwolf Lake Works.

Perfectly Imperfect Nutrition New Chamber Member Ribbon Cutting

May 26, 2022 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors invite the public to join them at a New Member Ribbon Cutting for Perfectly Imperfect Nutrition on Thursday, June 2nd at 12noon.

Denise Hill is excited about her new business venture. Perfectly Imperfect Nutrition is the perfect place to stop for a good healthy meal replacement shake or jump start your day with an energy tea.  Needing an afternoon pick me up – a refreshing energy tea is a perfect option. Fresh fruit is added to the shakes making them absolutely delicious, and healthy.
