School board candidates and interested citizens can learn about the demands and rewards of school board service in a free Webinar offered by the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB). These online workshops take place Monday, February 22, and Thursday, March 24, from noon to 1 p.m. and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. (all CST).

January 24, 2016 - The Joaquin ISD School Board met January 19, 2016 in regular session at 6:00 p.m. in the Joaquin Boardroom with the following members present: Jay Dee Cockrell, Charles Leflett, Thomas Harvey, Tam Hearnsberger, Chrisco Bragg(arrived 6:15 p.m.), and Jimmy Hamilton. Board members absent were Ronnie Belrose. Guest present was Amy Kadlecek, Policy Consultant, Texas Association of School Boards.
