August 19, 2015 - The Joaquin ISD School Board met Monday, August 17, 2015 in regular session at 6:00 p.m. in the Joaquin Boardroom with the following members present: Jay Dee Cockrell, Ronnie Belrose, Charles Leflett, Chrisco Bragg, Thomas Harvey and Jimmy Hamilton. Board member absent was Tam Hearnsberger. Guest present was Jeff Cater. Joaquin ISD Employees present were Phil Worsham, Superintendent; Joel Bumback, Director of Finance; Jimmy Jackson, High School Principal; Sherry Scruggs, Elementary Principal; Terri Gray, Jr.

August 13, 2015 - Notice is hereby given that on Monday, the 17th day of August 2015 the Board of Trustees of the Joaquin School District will hold a regular meeting at 6:00 p.m., at the Administration building, Joaquin, Texas.

Joaquin ISD to Host Meet the Rams

August 13, 2015 - Meet the Rams will be held on Saturday, August 15th beginning at 5:00 pm. This will be held in the new high school gym instead of on the football field as originally advertised.

The football scrimmage will follow as scheduled. Please come out to show your support for our RAMS!

August 6, 2015 - Notice is hereby given that on the 10th day of August 2015, the Board of Trustees of Joaquin School District will hold a special meeting at 6pm at the Joaquin ISD Administration building Board room, Joaquin, Texas.

Joaquin ISD Schedule of Events for the Start of School

August 3, 2015 - Joaquin ISD Junior High and High School Registration Dates/Times are as follows:

Grades 6th, 7th and 8th - August 13th from 9:30 - 11:30 am
Seniors and Juniors - August 13th from 1:30 - 3:00 pm
Sophomores - August 14th from 9:00 - 11:00 am
Freshman - August 14th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Meet the Rams will be held on Saturday, August 15th at 5:00 pm on the football field. There will be a $2.00 entry fee with scrimmage to follow.

Joaquin ISD Announces Times for Physicals and Practice

July 31, 2015 - Joaquin ISD Athletic Department is offering physicals for all student athletes on Friday, July 31st at 10 a.m. There is not a fee for the physical, but please bring insurance cards.

Football practice will begin Monday, August 3rd. Athletes need to report at 7:45 a.m.

Joaquin ISD Annouces New Band Director

July 22, 2015 - James Carpenter has been named the new Head Band director at Joaquin ISD. His research consists primarily with Wagnerian Opera in association with Richard Wagner’s adaptation of the Nibelungenlied into his dramatic prose.
