August 29, 2025 - The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Shelby County in eastern Texas, Panola County in northeasternTexas until 10:45am CDT.
At 738am CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
August 17, 2025 - A strong thunderstorm will impact southwestern De Soto Parish and southeastern Panola and northeastern Shelby counties until 5:15pm CDT.
At 4:47pm CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Joaquin, or 14 miles northeast of Center, moving northeast at 25 mph.
Hazard: Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
Source: Radar indicated.
Impact: Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Jun 24 2025 - A strong thunderstorm will impact southwestern Panola, southeastern Rusk, northern Nacogdoches, northwestern Shelby and east central Cherokee counties through 7:45pm.
At 7:03 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Garrison, or 15 miles northeast of Nacogdoches, moving northwest at
30 mph.
June 11, 2025 - Strong thunderstorms will impact southwestern De Soto, Southwestern Natchitoches, and Sabine Parishes. Shelby, northeastern San Augustine and Sabine Counties through 3:30pm CDT.
At 2:31pm CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Center to near Mayflower. Movement was
northeast at 50 mph.
