June 26, 2024 - (Update - 3:18pm): Severe Thunderstorm Watch 465 remains valid until 7pm CDT this evening for the following areas: in Arkansas this watch includes one county, in south central Arkansas - Union; in Louisiana this watch includes 13 parishes, in north central Louisiana - Caldwell, Grant, Jackson, La Salle, Lincoln, Ouachita, Union, and Winn. In northwest Louisiana - Bienville, De Soto, Natchitoches, Red River, and Sabine.
In Texas this watch includes six counties, in northeast Texas - Angelina, Cherokee, Nacogdoches, Sabine, San Augustine, and Shelby.
June 4, 2024 - At 9:30am on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 the National Weather Service, Shreveport, LA stated the forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the Sabine River at Logansport affecting Panola and Shelby counties, and De Soto parish.
For the Sabine River including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater, Longview, Beckville, Logansport... moderate flooding is forecast.
Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
June 3, 2024 (9:39pm) - At 9:39pm, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Waskom to near Deberry to 6 miles north of Joaquin to near Timpson, moving east at 50 mph.
June 3, 2024 - At 9:02pm, Monday, June 3, 2024, the National Weather Service Shreveport, LA issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning to last until 10:00pm.
May 30, 2024 - The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Southwestern Caddo Parish in northwestern Louisiana, Western De Soto Parish in northwestern Louisiana, Northern Shelby County in eastern Texas, Panola County in northeastern Texas until 11:30pm CDT.
At 8:31pm CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

May 28, 2024 - (Update - 11:40am): At 10:56am CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Mansfield to 9 miles southeast of Logansport to near Neuville. Movement was east at 35 mph.
Hazard: Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
