December 2, 2016 - Santa Claus is coming to town this Saturday, December 3.  Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade Committee Chairman Randy Collard reports that during the parade afternoon the Daughters of the Republic William Carroll Crawford Chapter will host tours of the First Ladies in Texas Building on the historic downtown Center Square prior to Santa’s Christmas Parade, presented by Shelby Savings Bank. 

November 11, 2016 - Santa Claus recently delivered an invitation to Ann Forbes to serve as Grand Marshal of the 17th annual Santa’s Christmas Parade, in honor of the memory of her husband, Jim Forbes.

October 24, 2016 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors are hosting the 4th Annual Taste of the Holidays, presented by Shelby Savings Bank, an eclectic culinary sampling and dining experience, on Friday, November 4 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the John D. Windham Civic Center in conjunction with the annual Pinecone and Mistletoe Christmas Market.

October 22, 2016 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce, Santa’s Christmas Parade Committee announces the 2016 parade will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 beginning at 6:00 p.m. The theme for the parade this year is”O Christmas Tree” and presented by Shelby Savings Bank.

October 20, 2016 - Shelby County Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the establishment of the Young Professionals Network. The premier networking social mixer is scheduled for Monday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m. at The Reserve, located on Nacogdoches Street on the downtown Center square. This event will include viewing the Houston Texans vs. Denver Broncos game, appetizers, wine tasting, and football squares will be available with admission of $5.00.
